MarketWatch reports on Champagne Bollinger’s long connection with James Bond and its release of the new Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition timed to the release of No Time To Die.
Writer Charles Passy explains, “The tie-ins between Bond and Bollinger go back long before the era of Daniel Craig, the current cinematic Bond who is stepping down from the role after this picture. Bollinger is first mentioned in Ian Fleming’s Bond novel, “Diamonds are Forever” (published in 1956) and the Champagne first made its way on film in “Live and Let Die” (released in 1973). Eventually, Bollinger became a kind of official Bond Champagne, with appearances in other Bond movies.”
As a way of honoring and celebrating the longstanding relationship, the writer adds that Bollinger has introduced various Limited Editions over the years. Notably, and in Bond fashion, they “come in a sleek, spy-worthy package.” He adds that the “liquid inside is the real deal,” which isn’t usually the case with products tied to movies or music connections. He adds, it is a deliciously fruity Champagne that has a bright, clean taste.
